On the lines of Delhi, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, the NDA government in Bihar can start the Mahila Samman Yojana. According to sources, ideas are going on about the amount of the plan and the criteria required for it. This plan can be announced in July. It is the effort of the Bihar government that before the elections, funds started reaching the bank accounts of women. BJP’s ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’ has proved to be a game changer in gaining power in Maharashtra, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. Even during the Delhi Assembly elections, the BJP had promised the woman that under the ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’, she will be given Rs 2500 every month. Due to which BJP got the support of the people of Delhi. BJP’s 27 -year exile in the capital ended. Similarly, with the help of ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’, it also helped in winning elections in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
In which state such schemes are going on
The plan to give money to women every month was first started in Madhya Pradesh. The then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan started giving 1000 rupees to eligible women every month. This plan proved to be a hit. At the same time, in the election held in December 2023, when the BJP government was formed once again in Madhya Pradesh, the amount of this scheme was increased to Rs 1250 per month. After the success of this scheme in Madhya Pradesh, many states started such schemes.
