The Allahabad High Court has ordered the dyeing and painting of Jama Masjid of Sambhal. On March 12, the court gave this order partially accepting the application of the Masjid Committee. The court said that dyeing and painting can only be done on the outer walls of the mosque. After this order of the court, the Masjid Committee is preparing for the work of dyeing. But meanwhile, on Thursday, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) again reached the royal Jama Masjid of Sambhal.
Team reached for measurement and assessment before dyeing and painting
After the approval of dyeing-painting by the High Court, it was revealed about the ASI team to reach here that the ASI team had reached Sambhal Mosque to take measurement and assessment before whiteness and repair work. Talking to a news agency, the officer gave this information.
Dye-painting work has to be done in a week
It may be noted that the Masjid Committee had admitted to the Allahabad High Court, in which they sought permission for dyeing. A single bench of Justice Rohit Ranjan Aggarwal ordered the work to be done within a week and directed the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to ensure this.

This order is based on the argument that the outer walls of the mosque can be beautified, provided no structural changes are made or any historical structure is damaged.
