Haldwani, Amrit thoughts: The Municipal Corporation is taking strict action against encroachment by campaigning continuously. Municipal Commissioner Richa Singh inspected from Bareilly Road to Teenpani on Monday. He removed the encroachment outside the post office and on the Mukhani Kriyashala Road at Paithapadav on Bareilly Road. The city commissioner had received a complaint that outside the post office was encroached by the carts, due to which the people coming to the post office were facing problems.
On which he removed the carts outside it. After this she reached Mandi, where the shopkeepers encroached on the drains by putting up the drains. The city commissioner warned these shopkeepers to remove encroachments themselves. He asked the shopkeepers to break the foot soon and put a trap on the drains, otherwise the corporation will take action. Also, single use plastic seized from some shops located in Mandi and challaned Rs 7 thousand. Also, a challan of 10 thousand rupees was done on spreading dirt in shops and 1 thousand rupees for depositing garbage. Near the mandi, the junk had collected junk and he used to burn garbage. On which he was challaned and warned. The city commissioner had received a complaint that near the workshop, the women with fruits and vegetables were misbehaved and people here drink alcohol in the open in the evening. He warned the shopkeepers about this. During the inspection, junk deposits were found from under the fruits of the fruit, which was removed.
