Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has worked with many big director-producers. However, during a chat season with lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar, he told that producer-director Subhash Ghai never offered him a film. The actor said, “I wanted to work with successful director Subhash Ghai. But he did not offer me the film.” Earlier, Aamir Khan attended the lunch of ‘Aamir Khan: Cinema’s magician’ film festival held in Mumbai. During this, Aamir shared many of his experiences related to the film. During the program, Javed Akhtar said, “Who would ‘Dangal’ with his mind, which had a role of an old man who loses his daughter in wrestling? You take risks, no one else can take.”
Aamir said that choosing is such a thing, which had come in his life long ago. The actor said that after his debut in ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’, he had to struggle for good scripts in the early stages of his career, but at that time he also called many films ‘Na’. The actor said, “I dared to say ‘no’ even in my worst time. If I had compromised that day, my entire career would have become a series of agreements”. He said, “I got a film of Mahesh Bhatt in the worst time of life. But I did not like that film. I dared and told Mahesh Bhatt”.
Aamir is counted as a superstar in Hindi cinema who dare to use and perform films that have the ability to set standards in terms of both box-office and cultural effects. His list of his very popular films includes the names of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Sarfarosh’, ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, ‘Dangal’ etc.
