Bollywood’s 70 -day report card
New Delhi:
It has been 70 days since 2025 started. As Sunny Deol said in Damini, the date on the date on the date on the same way every week and sometimes after a break of a few weeks, the film was released on the film but not found a hit. The drought of this hit is now so much that even while writing these reports, the hands are trembling because the situation is very worrying. From January to March, no film has been found which has been able to step at the box office.
In January, Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahadia’s Skyforce came. The budget of this film was 160 crores and its earnings were 109.80 crores. After this, Deva was a little promising but Shahid Kapoor could not succeed in playing long innings. Made in the budget of about 50 to 80 crores, this film earned only 59.36 crores. Now say yourself, will you be able to call it a hit. If the film had really been liked so much, then its direct effect would have seen on earnings.
Now, if you go out from January and move towards February, then only the vessel of Vicky Kaushal is seen to remember. There was a lot of craze about this film which was seen even after release. If someone has been able to save the honor of the box office of Bollywood films in this report, then it is a chhava. This film is still in theaters and the earnings figure is continuously increasing. According to the trade tracking website, Texnilk, Chhava has so far collected 530.95 crores. The film’s gross collection in India is 627.35 crores and when we talk about world wide earnings, the film has collected 712.5 crores. Now it is clear that till now only one film has tasted success in 70 days.
